Tahina Sauce Recipe (Taratour)



Taratour is a Middle Eastern sauce that is perfect for meats, vegetables and seafood. It's even better on pita sandwiches like Shawarma. A simple combination of Tahina, Lemon Juice, Garlic and iced water. Dijon Mustard could also be added. Its tangy, slightly spicy Dijon flavor pairs with Tahina and Garlic. It creates a layered, delicious dressing for really tasty meals.
Ingredients: 1 cup Kamel Bsat Factories Tahina, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons iced water. 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped parsley (optional). Combine Tahina, garlic, lemon juice and salt in a food processor. Process adding water gradually and mix until it forms a smooth sauce.
